Operation Bolo (serials and tailcodes)

Thu Nov 06, 2014 2:29 pm

Hi all
I´m currently working on a pretty large project: I want to do a accurate profile rendition of all 12 Phantoms of the Olds, Ford and Rambler flights of operation Bolo on Jan. 2nd, 1967. It´s easier said than done, and i´my research i have hit a few bumps, but i hoep some of you might be able to help me out.
First off: I know that the crews flew aircraft assigned to the 8th TFW , but they were not necessarily assigned to a aircraft of their own squadron. Fx. Col Olds of 555th TFS flew a aircraft with the tailcode FP. That tailcode was used by 497th TFS.

Anyway, Here´s teh list i have so far, and i really would be extremly greatful if some of you would help me fill in the blanks

Olds 1 63-7680, FP, Col. R. Olds and 1Lt C. Cliffton
Olds 2 63-7589, FY, 1Lt. R.. Wetterhahn and 1Lt J. Sharp
Olds 3 ??
Olds 4 63-7683, FP, Capt. W. Radeker III and 1Lt. J.Murray III

Ford 1 ??
Ford 2 63-7710, FY, Capt. E. Raspberry, Jr. and 1Lt R. Western
Ford 3 ??
Ford 4 ??

Rambler 1 63-7720, FG, Capt. John B. Stone and 1Lt. C. Dunnegan, Jr.
Rambler 2 63-7652, FG, 1Lt. L. Glynn, Jr. and 1Lt. L. Cary
Rambler 3 ??
Rambler 4 64-0838, FG, Maj. P.Combies and 1Lt L. Dutton

Here´s a sample of some of the profiles i´m working on for this project:

Hope some of you can help me out ;)
