Grumman JRF-5 Goose, 34075, Crash of November 1943

I just found your site and the exchange concerning the above named Goose that crashed in Alaska in '43, with recovery in August, 1987. My uncle was Ensign Harold D. Bennett.

"Rajay" indicated he had pictures, documents, regarding this tragedy. My sister and I would love copies for our genealogy. Our dad was Jack Bennett. email_hisblestchildatgmaildotcom. Thank you, so much. It was wonderful reading all the details about the "Geese".

Thank you, John. Sorry I got you confused with Rajay. I heard back from both of you and I truly appreciate your responding. Uncle Harold was definitely CG not Navy. Dad, Jack Bennett (who was Navy), died in 2007 so I'm not sure where that email will end up :). Again, thanks so much. Strangely enough I live here in Sacramento CA just southeast of what used to be McClellan AFB. Every day I see (and hear) the Coast Guard planes and copters go by as they have a station at the old base. Since we are quite a ways inland I always wonder about that. :) Anyway, again, my thanks.
