Digging for a Spitfire in Yangon, Myanmar

Flew thru VYYY (Yangon, Myanmar formerly known as Rangoon, Burma) last week and saw this NOTAM...

YGN (YANGON INTERNATIONAL) AD SPITFIRE ACT EXCAVATION WIP AT LEFT
SIDE OF RWY 03.WORK SIDE AREA WITH THE LENGTH OF 1430FT AND WIDTH
OF 165FT ALONG THE RWY.DISTANCE 1300FT FM RWY 03 THR AND 174FT FM THE
EDGE OF RWY 03 ON THE LEFT SIDE. PILOT ECL/ECT


Took off and landed on RWY 21, so we never did get a view of the dig site.

Anybody know the details of who, what, why, etc?
