other than the helldiver over water, i'd say that all the aircraft are flying over snow or mountains

Yes there's wings and engines and mountains with snow ... and on and on ... but, there's one very obvious common thing that every photo involves that I'm betting no one will pick up on anytime soon.

Maybe someone will pick up on it sooner than I think, but I don't think so ... pop2

Hmm.
They're not all American-built (Zero).
They're not all being flown by Americans (Finnish Buffalo).
They're not all piston-powered or have engines made by the same company.
They're not all flying in the same direction.
About the only other thing I can find in common is... none have sharkmouths?

Correct you are Chris on all counts, but remember it's not what their not, but what they all have in common as to what they're doing. Flying yes .... But?

I don't get it as there are several "singles" in the photos unless you count them as being in formation with the photo ship.
