This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Will be a nice addition, although I personally love the annex. Great feel to it- but I love dark dusty hangers chock full of one of a kind aircraft.
A simple request: take the plugs and "B" mods off the Hanoi Taxi and repaint as an A model C-141.
Ohh and fire up the XB-70 and the Thunderscreech and taxi them over.

My first visit to the museum was in 1981...back when it was still the one building.
I rather liked it smaller. Particularly I miss the AF Chaplin display overlooking the large gallery...also, IIRC the snack bar also had a view.
Don't get me wrong, it's a great place...but there is something nice about a more intimate space.

Sounds like it will be a great addition. Its been a few years since I've been there but hope to go back soon. And if anyone has never taken the behind the scenes tour, I highly recommend it! It is well worth it.
