Thanks for the report and photos. I like to leave it to pros like you to take great shots- I prefer to soak in the sights and sounds not worrying about peering through a view finder.
It really is a great show and the closest I have ever been to aircraft on the flight line and on the runway. A special setting.
Thanks again for posting and to the MAM team.

I actually agree with you. My best airshow experiences happened when i didn't to be worry about taking the right shots!

Was there last year and his FW190 A model flew and the D model , I guess can't. The A model is now in Madras ,Oregon and from the pictures I see another" A" model. Is this "new" A model a flier? It is a great show and I will return. I did watch some of the show on his webcams.

Terrific photos! First time I've seen a Skyraider with that barn door of a dive brake extended.
What was the CWH Lancaster's mechanical issue?

Yep, me too. Especially when ya got someone like Mr. Allnutt on the job. I have great equipment and use it enough to know what it takes, and this is beautiful, beautiful photography!! And the planes ... hoo boy, we're talkin' serious eye candy here!!

Richard, thanks for including me in the show report- it was fantastic to finally meet you after all this time, and that long, wandering chat on Saturday evening will be remembered for quite some time.

Cheers!

Thanks very much guys for all the encouraging words. I'm really pleased you enjoyed the report, and the photographs. And Lynn... it was a real pleasure to finally get to meet you over the weekend. Our conversations, completely away from aviation, were really entertaining, and Tony Harmsworth felt the same. I will get his contact information for you if you like.
Cheers,
Richard
