As we usually do we introduce a new restoration to our readers by describing the history of the aircraft.
She is coming together quickly now, with the fuselage being ready for reattachment to the wings.

Good day!
Nice to see another Warbird coming back to the Mustang TF-51 arena! Some 45 yrs ago, it went S. of the border as a stock P-51D poss N5459V. Dick Phillips captured it somewhere in the US c.1960s as N5459V. It appears that served as a FAS 408 or FAS 409 depending on the pics of airworthy samples that came back c. Nov 74 with Jack Flaherty.
p.s It's still a bit blurry the FAS P-51s S/ns that came back.
