L-5 serial number mystery at the Travis Museum

Our L-5E Sentinel at the Travis AFB Museum has an unknown serial number.

We checked the aircraft frame and the data plate located inside the cockpit left side (boot cowl tag)
They both have construction number 3784.

We can find no construction number to serial number list for the L-5 Sentinel aircraft. Joe Baughers list and some other L-5 construction numbers do not seem to match up. They do narrow down the possibilites, but not positive yet. Did all L-5s have an US Air Corps serial number or Navy BUNO or did some go to civilian market? There seems to be some gaps in the construction numbers to serial numbers.

Is anyone out there that can help ID our L-5 serial number?

Also we have L-5EVW with 24 volt system. (VW = Produced Stinson Wayne, Michigan)
