This may interest some - another CAC Mustang is getting closer to flying again - seen at the Tyabb airshow recently - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8beQh9Gi ... e=youtu.be

Well that would be a first... To see a plane started and run while on jacks and in a hangar none the less.

What's that prop made of? It looks to be wood to me.

Looks fake, no smoke! In the commentary it says something about a joke. Engine sounds don't match the prop speed.

Those aren't jack stands...it is the new STOL Mustang. Bring throttle up to emergency take off power and off you go!

Thanx Lib. Except for that prop, she looks great! It would sure be a waste of a World of time for someone to go thru ALL that trouble to "recreate" a fake 100% size P-51, and put an undersize prop like that, that would be "STUPID!" Obis. it's a temp. prop. that would be suited for a smaller kit mustang. Please send more info. mate!

The prop is obviously a fake and the "start up" was a joke which is admitted to in the decription of the video. The description also notes that the Mustang will be flying again soon and I've no reason to think otherwise. It looks fantastic by the way.
