42nd BG ''The Crusaders''

Hello,

I'm researching the 42nd BG during the last year of the Pacific war.

Now first of all, does anyone know, or at least have some idea, what were the colors used by each of the five Bomb Squadrons on their B-25s vertical tails fins? So far, I only managed to conclude that the 75th BS most probably used yellow, but that's all. And what about the 69th, 70th, 100th and 390th BS? Red, blue, white, green... I can only guess.

Then, I need the serial numbers (hopefully) and exact squadron assignment of the following 42nd BG B-25s:
- ''Milk Run II'' solid nose
- ''Bitemontheas'' solid nose
- ''Helen Mae'' solid nose
- ''S-assy Sal'' glass nose
- ''Big Operator! II'' glass nose

They all used the yellow fin tip and Bitemeontheas was 41st BG 7th AF.

I am looking for information, and the movie, of a crew with pilot name of Jordan J Wheeler from 42nd Bomb Group. The movie was made of a PBY recovering them when downed during a mission. Thanks!

Bitemintheas was my grandfathers plane. I would love to know more information about this group of pilots. If anyone has any info, it would so be greatly appreciated.

This plane was flown by John Clifton Kerr from Golden, Colorado. He was my grandfather.

I got this shot from my uncle Bud Seglin; anyone know if this solid nose Crusader B-25J, 44-29766, had a name on the other side?

Big Operator II of the 42nd Bombardment Group/70th Bombardment Squadron was piloted by 1st LT Wallace Roever, a relative of mine who crashed at sea on January 20, 1945. According the Air Corps report on his loss the aircraft had a tail number of 42-87336. If anyone has any additional information or photos of the aircraft I would appreciate it if you could contact me.
