Just want to make a little historical / factual correction:

The CW-19R was not sitting on an Air Force General's tomb, but rather, on a War Memorial. I have this confirmed by an aviation historian from Bolivia, Mr. Jonathan Olguin.

Not a big deal on the great scheme of things, but I thought it was worth checking on, and correcting.

Lastly, there is an SNC-1 surviving in Bolivia (what is left of it) and there are plans to restore it.

AFAIK, John, there was one CW-19R recovered from Bolivia some 15 years or so ago, brought to Texas for restoration, then went up to California, and then to Kermit Weeks.

Two SNC-s survive, one damaged during a museum fire in Uruguay, and another in Bolivia.

There is one other CW-19 surviving in the Dominican Republic.

This is the same one which used to fly routinely from the Sonoma/Schellville airport, up until at least 2009/2010, when owned by Don Carter - it is probably new to many, who weren't familiar with the aircraft prior to it being purchased by Kermit Weeks. Some limited work was done to the aircraft prior to it flying again after arriving at Fantasy of Flight.

Rather unique that Kermit also has a CW-22 as well.
