USS Intrepid F6F

Does anyone know where the F6F that was on the Intrepid in New York went? I was there last week and the only WW2 era aircraft on board was a TBM.

I've been wondering this myself. It's a shame the Helldiver became a recreational dive spot. Those two replicas looked really good IMHO.

We can't have kids growing up thinking the Navy flew prop planes from carriers.
It's better they think the SR-71 and Concord were carrier-based. :)
