Trying to fulfill some of the requests I get when I have the time and also happy to try to see what I can do as well to come up with some groovy stuff. (while trying not to burn you guys out in the process) Gotta keep trying to feed those hungry WIXers

Here's a request for more wartime assembly and factory photos. I have a boatload of stuff, but I'll try to post the best quality photos I have. Please feel free to correct me if I post any wrong information. It happens from time to time

The first two images we're taken in Dallas after Vought moved to Texas in 1948. These look to be AU-1 Corsairs. The third shot was indeed taken at the Stratford plant here in CT.

Keep them coming!! I see a BTD in the background of the last SBD. It looks like the prop on the SBD was installed with the blades indexed in coarse pitch, or was flown and then set to coarse. Kinda different looking.

See!!! there ya go!!! ... As most of you know (or should know), good ole WIX has this kooky built-in spell-checker / bad word sensor deal going on. You really have to go back and check your spelling AFTER you post to see how many of your words get "Jacked" into something else.

I know it's Stratford.

And I'll post a patch more photos later. (got some good ones)
