RCAF Aeronca L-3's?

Would anyone know if the Aeronca L-3's were ever leased to the RCAF during WWII?

I have researched the RCAF all my life and as far as I know the RCAF never used L-3's but am willing to be proved wrong.
They did use Austers and Stinson 105's
However during wartime strange things happen and it would not surprise me to hear that the odd
L4 or L3 etc may have ended up with the wrong group
If I am not mistaken , the RAF utilized some US recon
Look forward to hearing what others say about this
