Lazarov Brothers Inc. salvage near Memphis, TN (c1950-1990)?

Here's an interesting topic that I've never heard discussed. The Lazarov Brothers had a salvage operation in the Memphis, TN area, I believe they operated from the 1950s through the 1980s/90s before selling out to another company. During their time, they purchased a vast number of surplus US Navy aircraft for scrap, but were also known to have set more than a few aside for private purchase. This would include everything from old piston-engine birds, to helicopters, jets, etc.

So here's my question. Has anyone else heard of the Lazarov Brothers, and do you know of any surviving warbirds today that were purchased as surplus from this private operation?

Rob I believe it's Lasarov. Here's a Bennie Lazarov (1914-1990) that fits your description.
