More than likely WAF not WAAF as 3 Sqd RAAF was the only ones to operate Lysanders and that was in the middle east, but it came from the same source

With no intention of disparaging the contributions of women in WWII, anyone who has ever cranked up the fly wheel, as in the 2nd and 3rd photo, knows that this is purely a staged PR photo. Certainly not single handedly by this attractive young lady.
