Hi - hoping some of you guys can help. I'm after good quality close up photos of the Skyraider's engine, engine mount and accessory compartment (where mount attaches to fuselage plus associated stuff like oil tank & wiring etc) - and I mean with the panels open or off showing the inside details
I've got just about every book going on the Spad - they do show some tantalising shots, but always too far away and not enough close up detail
I'm after photos you might have taken yourself, or photos you might have links to for restorations, maintenance, overhauls etc that show these areas in detail.
Any help greatly appreciated!

Have you chosen a paint scheme yet? If you don't have one already, a thread in the modeling section would be fun to follow.

How 'bout these Rich?

these are nice ken, thanks... however a guy called christophe who owns the France-based AD-4N sent me a CD full of photos from an engine change, so I am sorted for now!
What I'm after next are photos of the part of the turtle deck underneath the canopy & behind the pilot (where the actuator & rocket motor for the yankee seat are located) and also photos of the fuel cell bay....

This site has links to photos of an actual A-1 cockpit section salvaged to become a training device:
