A Little help with beta test the new WRG/Registry site code

Sat Nov 16, 2013 11:51 am

I could use a little beta testing help. This is a link to version 4.0 of the Warbirds Resource Group and Warbird Registry layout coding. It is purely CSS based formatting as opposed to the old tables way of formatting. I think I have the bugs worked out of it but would like some people to take a look at it. It's just a formatting test bed, most if not all the links WILL NOT work as the content was used from other sections of the site. Hopefully this updating of the code will allow search engines to more accurately "see" the content and to help it load a little faster.

What I'm looking for is to see if everybody sees it correctly and that there are no issues. So please take a moment, check it out, and let me know if anything looks funny or broken. Thanks.

Looks fine to me and it is much faster. Good ole CSS framework, know it well. Much faster but plenty of restrictions and much more code but it does enable good cross-browsing which is important if you want the same look on most all browsers.

Definitely see an improvement in performance. All the buttons work, and it looks nice, so I'd say it's a pass. :)

Is this static HTML or do you have the content driven from a database?

Ok, if you need help I'm a software engineer and this is a site I did for my great great grandfather.

Dynamic database driven sites make it much easier to manage content.
