I thought I would share this photo of a "rather ragged" Newport AAF, AR Vultee BT-13 Valiant. Anyone recognize the rear seat individual ??

No but my Dad flew BT's at Newport. Do you have any more pics?

Hello Bipe 215:
Thanks so much for your response. The only other Newport AAF photo I have can be found on my website of
http://www.fuselagecodes.comLook on the subsection titled "Basic Flight Training" and at the bottom of the fuselage code charts there are a number of BT-13 photos displaying various AAF code letters. Among them is another "NE" marked aircraft. Those are the only two Newport BT-13 photos I've been able to find.

Only BT-13 serial ending in 743 would be 42-1743, but it's one of Baugher's blank spots.
