Hahnweide, Germany - 300+ vintage aircraft & warbirds

My good friend Huw has written an article on the first part of our recent trip to Germany for the Hahnweide fly-in and airshow. This tremendous event attracts 300-400 vintage aircraft, and this year saw five Ju-52s, Skyraider, Sea Fury, Mustangs, Fokker DVII and all kinds of beautiful classic aircraft descend on this small grass strip in southern Germany.

The photography is absolutely stunning, worth reading for that alone in my opinion! I can't recommend this event enough.
