I remember seeing it for the first time flying into LAX and I darn near had a bird (pardon the pun) when I looked out the window and saw all the planes parked down there. We passed it again on the flight back to Baltimore. I kept thinking "How come I've never heard of this place before?"

It looks like they have a few interesting original airframes. Wonder if any can be returned back to flight status?

I sure hope they don't get scrapped. Is that P-40 a real one? From the pictures I found of it it sure looks the part compaired to some of the others.

Take a look at the bottom PIC that P-40 fuselase isn't the one on pole out front do they have two P-40?'s if these are fiberglass they are great copys

Tallichet owned a company that made these fiberglass replicas, up to and including a B-24 (at Lackland now?).

Bumping because I've got a question. In doing research on preserved Sabres the other day, I noted that one of the airframes stored at the Proud Bird is a Columbus-built F-86F-25-NH, 52-5345 c/n 193-74. This was previously listed as at the American Wings Air Museum at Anoka County Airport in Minneapolis, but their website doesn't have any mention of it, does anyone know how it left Minnesota? Also, is there any info on where the aircraft and replicas at the restaurant will go now? I realize the chances of me saving this Sabre are zero, but I'm still curious.
