The Museum of Flight recently acquired a North American T-6F (built and delivered in March 1945 as an AT-6F) which served into 1952-1953 and was last assigned to the 530th Air Defense Group at Geiger AFB, WA. We desire to restore the aircraft to its configuration and appearance as of that period, and would be delighted to hear from any member who holds any information or contacts for that period.

I've passed the request onto some friends who were around Geiger back in the days...they, or their friends, might have something.
Also, I'm a bit surprised the USAF was still using F models, I'd figure they had all been converted into Gs my then.
But then again, perhaps they allotted the "new" Gs to ATC units and kept a few old Fs as station hacks.

As far as i know only Cs and Ds were converted, baggage doors are different as well as the back of the canopy on the F.
