Thanks for posting Frank! Looks like a good time. I wish I could've gone!
That FM-2 reminds my of the old, Warbirds Intentional days in the 1980's!

I'm friends with the co-pilot who flew Miss Hap to the show. He says it was a nice little gathering on the civilian side of Westover ARB, but no flying. And nothing like last year for the full Air Force show. He said last year they had fun, plenty of flying, formations, pyro, 100K people and the base was very accommodating. They kept asking them "anything you need?". Hard to believe what's happening in this country and this lost summer for airshows.
I wonder couldn't the USAF have just towed a C-5 across the base for static display???

I would assume they could have easily done that for the show but I don't think there was a place to fit it at that part of the ramp. The f-15 eagles are all there as well,( Barnes afb is having the runway redone,) but even that didn't happen. Easily could have brought 2 over to check them out

Nice to see the pics of Hap Arnold B-25. Got to see it on a couple of occasions back in the 80's when it belonged to former Dallas Cowboys placekicker Mike Clark. Nice bird (although it would be nice if someone eventually reinstalled the old solid nose in the name of accuracy).
