Wow! Congratulations!

Gannet is a pretty appropriate name for this bird. It looks a little ungainly but it definitely makes up for that with the interesting and cool factor

Was this the same example that was airworthy in the states and made it to OSH in the 90's IIRC? Was it with the Polar Air Museum at the time?

Yes, it appeared at OSH in 1997.

It's now under private ownership at New Richmond, Wisconsin.

Since all the euphoria and publicity around four years ago surrounding the unique ‘Janet The Gannet’ and it’s return to flight, public appearances, kit launch, fan club etc etc - all has now gone very quiet.

So can anyone in the US shed any light on this venerable ole sea bird such as its current location, does it still have an up to date certificate of airworthiness, or has it changed hands? In fact any news on it at all really would be appreciated tbh!
