Texas Mosquito

Back in the 60's or early 70's, there was a mossie at KSAT parked outside near the old Nyak hanger. IIRC she was pretty ragged looking, memory thinks it was dark brown or black. Did not look airworthy to me, but at 10 yrs old what did i know? I think it was there for many years but never got a pic of it. Anyone know the story?

I believe that was probably RG300. Apparently it fell apart when being transported? Later sold to Jim Merizan, and currently with Jim Dearborn.

does any anyone know what happend to the one in mexico?....had houses built around it...was in airclassic's in the 70's
