For our Canadian friends... HAPPY CANADA DAY

Mon Jul 01, 2013 3:46 am

Happy Canada Day to all our Canadian Friends!

Canada Day (French: Fête du Canada) is the national day of Canada, a federal statutory holiday celebrating the anniversary of the July 1, 1867, enactment of the British North America Act, 1867 (today called the Constitution Act, 1867), which united three colonies into a single country called Canada within the British Empire. Originally called Dominion Day (French: Le Jour de la Confédération), the holiday was renamed in 1982, the year the Canada Act was passed. Canada Day observances take place throughout Canada as well as among Canadians internationally.

Canada might be America's hat, but it is a mighty fine hat. <grin>

Congrats, Johnny, and all Canucks on Canada Day!

Certainly the USA has more than its fair share of ingrates. But from this Yank: Many thanks for having our back all these years.

Thanks everyone

As a proud Canadian living in the Great White North I truly appreciate it.

Canada has had a phenomenal aviation history...pioneering, bush pilots, commercial, combat and warbirds.

I am proud to be a part of telling that history to the thousands that visit our museum each year.

And as our Southern neighbors you are part of that history from the first aviators that visited and flew their Curtis Pushers to the North West Staging Route, into the Cold War and through to today.

So once again...thanks for thinking of us!
