Burnet, TX C-47 flight today

Sat Jun 29, 2013 12:23 am

So I had a rare opportunity today to fly along with the crew of "Bluebonnet Belle" in Burnet, TX today - part of the Highland Lakes CAF wing and took some pictures and video of a guy from the WWII Airborne Demonstration Team doing a jump. It was pretty neat.

Sweet! Great pics and video. :D

That is something I have wanted to do since I earned my jump wings 20 years ago. Some buddies of mine in the 82nd had the opportunity to jump into Normandy as part of one of the annual observances. Need less to say, I was more than a bit jealous!
