Just a dozen photos but it's interesting to see the RCAF Vampires with bat-faced noses, USAF F-94, and an RCAF Comet (never knew they had one). Plus a Lancaster and some Cansos in the b.g.

492572 (the F-94) is in another hole in Baughers list, but 71 and 73 were assigned to the 318th and 319th F.I.S. @ McChord so it probably was too. I spotted a lot of cars that would have hot rodders tearing their hair out to get-

In photo 5, I loved the Lancasters (RCAF maritime patrol?), the PBYs and at the end of the line a USAF Sikorsky H-5. Neat stuff.

The RCAF had two Comets (5301 & 5302) and were the first to have regularly scheduled transatlantic crossings by jet.
The nose of 5301 (the one featured in the link) is on display in the storage wing of the Canada Aviation and Space Museum in Ottawa.

5302 was sold into the civilian market as CF-SVR (later N373S) but was scrapped in Miami in 1975.

You learn something new every day... Google "CF-SVR" Comet and some interesting stories about 5301 and 5302 come up, plus a photo of 5302 gracing Corrosion Corner in Miami:
