Just returned from a HOT Reading, PA. It was another excellent WWII Weekend. Here are a few shots from the show.

Looks like a great weekend. Love the P-61 restoration. My uncle was shot down in one during WWII and I have always wanted to see one in the air.

Great to see they got some good weather. That hasn't always been a hallmark of this show.
That P-61 seems like it's just been a dream to me for decades. Now it looks amazing!! Talk about perseverance.

Didn't realize Red Nose had switched to 334th FS codes.











It looked to me like the infamous scratch has been plated over.











Nice to see a C-46 participate fully in a show.

We had everything there on Sunday.
L-4, SNJ-5 #23 with Dan Caderale, (T-6G was there in the early morning but Andrew flew back to MQS to PU Bald Eagle), Bald Eagle which Andrew flew his 1st P-51 acro performance, and Jim in the Spitfire.
All are back in the hangar plus 2 guests, Brat III and a Stearman 4E built in 1929.

I made it there on Saturday. Fantastic show! the gathering of warbirds was just great and in the WWII period setting it just added to the ambiance. Big shout out to Greg Witmer the Air Boss who really arranged a good and historically interesting flying display and a three mustang missing man formation. This should be a destination show for all Warbird fans.
