I am just back from a trip to China, and while there I noticed some Mitchell parts which has/had been in use as study objects. When mentioning Mitchells and China, one always think about the Tokio Raid Mitchells. Most probably, the parts I saw had nothing to do with them, but one never know. Was it known Mitchell parts were still around in Beijing, or did I discover something new? I could not find any ID, it was painted silver all over. Only thing with some data was the text on the tire.

You saw the inner wing and nacelle? Was it at Datangshan?
There was also a significant chunk of a B-24 wing at the university museum where the B-25 wing was when I saw it.
They also had P-47 and P-51 parts.

some where in here, someone posted some pictures of the wing of a B-25 fond in China and I doubt very seriously if it was any part of a Tokyo Raider B-25B I think...I think I have copies of the pictures that were posted, but don't hold me to it. I'll look and see if I have em
checked by files, I deleted the pictures because there was no known airframe to connect them to
