Recovering Sandbar Mitchell

Mon May 06, 2013 4:55 pm

Hello all,

I have officially launched our fund drive on Kickstarter and am in need of your support. I need to raise the needed $20K to bring B-25J 44-30733 "Sandbar Mitchell" home to Michigan from Alaska. Any amount is appreciated, and you will become part of our support team! We have 35 days to reach our goal so help make this go viral.

You can also learn more about the project at www.sandbarmitchell.org or on www.facebook.com/sandbarmitchell

Thank you all,

Patrick

The Museum, Warbirds of Glory, has been registered with the state of Michigan as a Non-profit corporation. The paper work for the 501C3 is in process as we speak, but will take up to 6 months to complete with the IRS. We can back date up to 15 months from the day we receive our 501C3 status. Kickstarter is our source for funding at the moment along with our items we give for donations till we are officially 501C3. Thank you all for your support and believing in me!

WIXers, why should you pledge to help recover B-25 Sandbar Mitchell? Your pledges will make this recovery possible so that youth like Logan can have the chance to learn the valuable skills to keep these old aircraft flying for generations to come. Please pledge so we can meet the $20K goal and make this recovery a reality. Just a donated of $10.00 goes a long way to our goal.

Thank you all for your support!
