Cavalier folks:

Good day!

Found this interesting Cavalier sample on www. Does anyone know its previous history or has a close-up photo of the vertical stab? Photo via AEC.

p.s It sure looks like one of those FAS samples!

The N-number appears to be NL351D.

Which would tie in with the lack of gunports in the picture.

Later reborn as Moon Spillers' P-51A

El Zorro, do you have this book?

If not, I highly recommend it. Incredible amount of info and pictures of Mustangs in Latin service.
