Looking for Troop Carrier veterans in Seattle area

Wed Feb 27, 2013 8:51 am

I'm helping a good friend of mine who's organising the annual 101st Airborne Trigger Time convention which is being held in Seattle this August. It's a chance for WWII airborne veterans to get together and for the public to honour their actions and sacrifices. Originally started by author and historian Mark Bando, the convention moves location every year when a forum member takes the baton of organising one.

I'll be going to my first Trigger Time convention this year as it's my good friend, Rob stark who's organising it. We want a nice mix of veterans this year and would absolutely love it if we could find some Troop Carrier veterans who could attend.

Does anybody know of any veterans in Washington State who could be interested in attending? Pretty much all of their costs would be covered.

Thanks,
Neil.

Have you contacted any of the aviation museums in the Northwest, like MoF, Olympic in Olympia, WA. EVERGREEN in McMinnville, the Future of Flight @ KPAE ?
