Very little information given for these photos but quite interesting never the less and I'm sure there are things that could be learned here. Some of you guys are quite good at researching BuNo's and accident reports so I'll sit back and read. Hopefully these were only accidents and mishaps with no (or very little) loss of life. Source San Diego Air and Space Museum archives, NMNA archives. (There's no gore or graphic photos posted, as I wouldn't post those type anyway, but I will take down any photo that may offend someone in anyway)

He's not mad, he knows better than that, and who gets mad around here, everyone loves everyone right? ... and yes there are a few photos posted which resulted in fatalities unfortunately. Sad indeed and I'll take any photo down that offends anyone, not the intent here.

So it was pretty much round the clock, one right after another, takeoffs and landings then? I ask because of the Wildcat on approach.

I never realized how much wider the Sable's deck was than regular aircraft carriers. (Compare with the photograph of Hornet below)

I'm curious about the "north arrow" in the foreground. I assume that this is some sort of documentation photo and that this is standard practice.

None from me! Although I am starting to wonder how you process these photos so fast...

Here's a more unique one I found online; it qualifies as an accident, but I'm not sure there was any damage to the aircraft from the landing:
