Images from this years Cockpitfest at Newark Air Museum, which the BBMF flew flypasts, are now up and if your interested, simply follow the link below!

First use of the Nikon D70 and I obviously need more practice with all the different modes but it is certainly a better camera than I had previously!

Tony,

I had been waiting for you to post these photo's as there are only a few on the net.

As always they look very good, nice exhibits this year as wel with the Spitfire and Hurricane cockpits from Tony D very impressive.

Thanks again Tony. You could apply for the job as official WIX (UK) photographer. :D

Hi Cees,
There were more exhibitors than last year and it was as always, a friendly meeting with all the Exhibitors ready to talk to the visitors and if I have to pick a favourite, my personal preferences would be the Hurricane PZ865 cockpit closely followed by the Lightning F.6 (XS898) although to pick one is not really fair on the others, as they all were excellent.

BBMF did the show proud with the Dakato, Spitfire AB910 while the Lancaster/Spitfire MK356 flypast was amazing!

I even managed a few words with Ken Ellis (FP ed) while he was single handedly fulfilling his role as Editor, PR, Photographer in Chief and was on the look out for a broom, to complete the role :)

I'm pleased that you are enjoying the pictures and as for the position of Official WIX (UK) Photographer, I feel there are others here better qualified (unfortunately for me :)) but with my new Nikon, I hope to improve and I plan on going Museum visiting on the 25th June, so that I can get a bit more practice in, before Legends in July.
