Someone know about mission of USAAF on Foggia area in 7 september 1943? Recently we discovered a crash site of a italian fighter Macchi 202 shot down when he intercepted a formation of USA bombers returning from Foggia (or traveling on Foggia) area. Do you have informations if this bombers was attacked about 30 miles south Naples from italian fighters? And if someone affirmed to shot down one? Thanks!
