Speaking of recoveries from Lake Michigan

Mon Oct 01, 2012 11:59 am

Does anyone have restoration updates or photos from the most recent lake recoveries? There is what 2 SBD's, a Hellcat and a Wildcat? How about progress on the Helldiver recovered in Calif?

Thanks Dave. The magazine arrived here at my estate today. Another good issue for sure.

Indeed - I think we will charge you four times as much next year Pat- having an 'estate' you can surely afford it :)

Oh yes, its a huge 1,300 sq ft estate that amazingly is worth less today then it was 26 years ago when we purchased it!

I often refer to my little slice of Heaven as "The Ranch". It's really an 0.33 acre corner lot in a small residential area. Our "livestock" consists of two black 'n white cats, a few snakes and lizards, and untold numbers of fire ants. Hmm.

Our property value has dropped the last three years. I'm actually happy about that. It means my property taxes are lower, and my insurance premiums will go up less than they would have (since they go up every year, "less" is an improvement).
