Why stop now?
Is it possible that the American public is getting less gullible?

Nah....

I'd have to say with the internet, the public is WAY more gullible than ever.

If PT BARNUM could only see the world now, He'd be a REALLY rich man.

Contrary to much that we have been taught about PT Barnum, the man had a higher code of honor than one would think. He despised the flim-flam and thought that the public deserved value for their money. He would be offended by TIGHAR.

Bernie Madoff would be offended by TIGHAR.
So would the proaganda ministers of most dictatorships, third world nations with the word "People's" in their title and most partisan political hacks from big city machines.

Can't be Earhart's plane. I saw her at the mall with Tupac, Elvis and Jimmy Hoffa the other day.

Now that the TIGHAR Hype and Salesmanship seems to have accumulated some amount of derision....

Would I be at least hopeful that someone or some persons with a dash of adventure would help our little project with the evidence it has: "help us out here."

I have been battling to find an all metal twin-engined aircraft wreck on New Britain Island for eighteen years now and the evidence of whose aircraft it is, is very strong, by all the evidence it is the Electra. It certainly has P & W R1340 S3H1 engines and there wern't any used there in WWII. All that 18 years of periodic visits we have been self-funding with minimal help from America, it's about time you did help us.

I plan to go again this year in the light of some new information which came my way last year while I was in the search area and will be taking two metal detectors as the area is now narrowed right down. We now definitely know that it is buried and I have located a very likely area of about two, maybe three acres in area. This wreck matching the Electra was seen in the jungle in 1945 by Australian diggers on a patrol. We have some documentary evidence which also matches. It's all on my website (see below).

I need about 25K, any takers ?.... She's your heroine and your Navigator. We've already spent about 160K on this and are financially exhausted. We need your help... Contributions can be made direct to me or my lady agent in L.A. or, on www.indiegogo.com, just search under Earhart.

We don't hype, BS, or say we have something when we do not, we just go about it quietly and put boots on the ground.
