Houston Hobby, Sat Aug 18

Thu Aug 16, 2012 6:40 pm

Just a heads up for this Saturday at Houston Hobby... the 1940 Air Terminal Museum is doing their monthly Wings and Wheels open house and the CAF Houston Wing will be on the ramp with all 5 ships from our hangar; C-60 Lodestar, T-6, BT-13, N3N, Stinson 108. Looks like the C-60 will be parked adjacent to the Museum's L-18, so if you're a Lodestar fan, come take a look. We should have the C-60 and T-6 on the ramp by 0945 and the others to follow soon after.

If ya like round engine noise and a hot n' schwetty sunburn, c'mon out.

If they fly both of them, get pics. Last I know of two Lodestars flying together was an early Friday morning back in the late 90's when the two then flying Lodestars were in the air together for a photo shoot over Midland. Unfortunately, neither will fly again.
