Our L-3C Restoration

Thu Aug 16, 2012 8:54 am

We have begun the restoration of our very rare L-3C alongside the O-58A we are already working on. This L-3C 43-1612 is in amazing original condition. Here is a photo of the original antenna mast remnant stub with clamps still attached to the airframe. I have included the factory drawing as well. This aircraft still has the factory pyralin and factory military seat belts dated 1943. There are only six L-3C aircraft still on the FAA registry. It will be restored back using a period fixed antenna from the 1940s that we have acquired.

We have set up a facebook page to document the restoration of these two very rare L-3 aircraft.
