Falcon Field Ki-43s

Mon Aug 06, 2012 5:31 pm

Scanned recently a negative of some WW-II fighter wreckage at Mesa (Falcon Field) 1998

Obvious never read the sign and logged as an unknown Zero wreck.
Took some time to find the correct Aircraft type : Nakajima Ki-43.

Couldn't find much on the web.

Does anyone have the whole story of these Ki-43 remains?

Many thanks in advance

The negative is part of a set scans from Arizona dating 1998
