This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

I stopped by the Mighty Eighth today for the first time to have a look at the 17 they are working on.One word describes the museum.WOW!.I was very impressed with the layout and the memorial gardens were very moving. The Church was also a very nice touch making one think you were in England for a moment.I met a fella there who was one of the tour guides and his name escapes me.He was a spry 91 years young and a ball turret gunner during the war.I am posting this for all to see so that if you find yourself running along interstate 95 around Savannah/Pooler Georgia drop in and see for yourself. Its first rate.

When I go there, I usually break away for a few minutes of quiet contemplation in the chapel. It's a powerful place.

Visited there in March on my way to the TICO airshow. Time well spent. Recommend stopping there.
