Some GREAT shots there, Bill. Thanks for sharing. I love the Neptunes, the F-8 and the C-117D especially. Definitely a different era. By the time the Seventies were over and definitely by the mid-eighties, a lot of interesting classic and colorful aircraft were gone from the inventory.

The Quantico T-28 looks a lot like the one that's on display at NAS Wildwood (NJ) Museum.
EDIT: Just checked my photos. Not the same aircraft. Rats.

That one Neptune (145915) is the one owned by MAAM so it still lives, at least on the ramp.

There are some great shots there!
I do not know what is cooler; the EB-66, DP-2, C-117D, et al. Great stuff!

Man I love those Neptunes. They are such cool looking airplanes. Would love to see one of the fire fighters returned back to its original configuration, especially if it was painted in the overall sea blue.
I'll have to check the BuNo on the F-8. Wonder if its a MiG Killer?
