This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future
I have not had a chance to visit the NNAM in Pensacola in the last year, so I was pleasantly surprised to see some new aircraft added to the collection. The Vought Aircraft Industry Retiree Club provided two new planes for the museum; a VE-7 #000005 and the F6U-1 Pirate, BuNo 122479. Both had many hours dedicated to restoring them for static display. I just hope the Pirate finds a home inside soon. Two other additional aircraft are both Marine: the CH-53D, BuNo 157159 and the UC-12B BuNo 151515. I am at present on the road but when I return home I will check my logbook to see if I have time in the "53". Of course some or all the members may know about these resent addition to the museum's collection but they were new to me. Enjoy Cheers Bill

We could find a place to put her Im sure. Would be nice to have her back home, where she was built. And that Savage and VE-7 too just to fill up the truck for the ride up here.
