The Australian National Aviation Museum at Moorabbin Airport has announced:
VP DAY - 60th Anniversary Celebrations
On Monday 15 August, Australia celebrates the 60th anniversary of VP Day, Victory in the Pacific.
In honour of those who risked or gave their lives in the defence of Australia, the Australian National Aviation Museum is offering free entry to all Military Service Veterans , and their accompanied guests, and similarly to former employees of Australia's wartime aircraft manufacturing industry, and their accompanied guests, for the entire VP week of celebrations from Saturday 13 August through to Sunday 21 August, during normal Museum opening times
