B-25 panther head

Hi,

I'm trying to find out more about the solid nosed B-25J from the photo:

Can someone confirm the caption regarding its unit assignment and the alleged red color used on the nose?
If so, would this be its actual look?

I'm a bit confused because the 822nd BS of the 38th BG also used the panther heads on their B-25s.
Any info is very appreciated!
