The GEBO II was a carrier-parasite composite aircraft using a B-36 carrier airplane and a partially expendable supersonic bomber as the parasite; the concept would be eventually abandoned in favor of a more conventional design which became the B-58 Hustler. The article reproduces excerpts of the originals reports, along with 63 drawings and illustrations of the various configurations studied.

After the war, and after Operation Paperclip, Alexander Lippisch (designer of what became the Me-163 KOMET and DFS gliders during WW2) worked for CONVAIR and had a lot of input on the projects they undertook like the XF-92A., the F-102/106, the SEADART seaplane jet fighter, and the B-58.

That looks just like a cross between a B-58 and a Sea Dart.
