Several years ago we had a local microbrewery in Everett called AVIATOR ALES, it was pretty good and then the owners sold out to a brewery in Bangladesh, one of the Ales used a Spit totting barrels on it's label.
I understand that years ago there was a centerline 350 Gal. tank with one squadron @Pensacola that was always installed empty on trips to Roosevelt Roads and always came back full of high octane pilot fuel. :drink3:

Years ago I worked with a group of fellows who were involved with the Martin Matador and Mace missile programs in Germany. They carried on an exchange program with their compatriots in the US where they sent large quantities of liquid refreshments to the states in return for hard-to-get American auto parts. They were carried in both Luftwaffe and USAF C-135's.
