Branson storms

Thu Mar 01, 2012 7:45 am

Reporting of the recent storm damage in Branson is showing quick glimpses of a/c damage. What appears to have been a twin engined a/c in yellow and red livery...very brief cut to the cockpit...looks like a B-25? Can anyone clarify and correct?

Replica P-51 outside an Army/Navy Store in Branson (I think it was an Army Navy Store.) Only been to Branson twice. Pretty sure I read it was a fiberglass replica though.

:(

Looks like one of my models after my cat jumped up on the model shelves a few years back. The destructive power of these storms never fails to shock me.

Good Lord, that is one thoroughly destroyed 'Poon.

Taigh, might be worth contacting these folks to see about picking up what's left as a potential source of a few spares?

Sad to see.

Does anyone have a better picture of what's left of the poon? I would really like to see what's left of her tail.

If that Harpoon has been damaged in the storm, I could certainly use just about everything from the trailing edge of the wings back for the Lodestar fuselage that I'm piecing back together. So, If any of you have a lead on a derelict Lodestar that can be parted out, I'm in need of some major stuff.

Identity of that plane was never revealed; might be an opportunity to pick among the debris to see if it can be identified however morbid.
However sad for that plane, the horrific wreckage among homes is much more heart breaking..
