Here my F-4D Phantom ejection seat which travels to airshows around Australia 1-2 times a year.

My Phantom ejection seat took me around $7,000 to purchase, ship to Australia from Texas and then to around 98% complete.
It is a heavy seat...just to move.

I have been lucky to make it into a "business" for me at aviation event charging kids and adult to sit in it wearing one of my many flight helmets... a small fee to assist in some cost recovery.
At current Australian airshow rates i may need to live to 150 until the seat is paid off LOL.

I still hold hopes of one day getting a F-86 Sabre seat T-4E model or a F-84E/G Republic ejection seat to complement my seat.

RSSK-8s are in short supply.....

The flyers need them.

No problem. Don't want to take from those who really need them. I can fab a spacer to get the seat cushion where I need it.

Thanks.

I have no idea if what the difference is between the RSSK types, but there's an RSSK 5 seat pack on Ebay right now for what seems to be a good price.

I have built some office chairs out of A-4 / A-7 seats over the years. I had new cushons made as opposed to using the stock parts. This one was made in 2010. Maj

Just don't ask about the P-51 replica prop blades he made in his kitchen many years ago. :D

Very cool. A nice job, sort of a "de-mill" version.

Now I have four Martin Baker Luftwaffe seats from Fiat G.91's. These too will be very original. Even have brand new old stock cushions and pads. Really cool and very complicated seats. They will be a challenge.
